Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 12–9 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pizzeria La Rosa at (914) 633-0800; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is pizzerialarosa.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

New Rochelle is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New Rochelle is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Delicious. It’s a crime that we just found this place a month ago after being in New Rochelle for 3 years. Fantastic service, even better food. The burgers on Thursday are incredible, and the pizza is the best in New Rochelle.

Deceivingly large pizza restaurant, with a full bar. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Fairly empty when we arrived around 2pm on a Saturday. Service was pretty good, but there was a long delay until our beers arrived, and they tasted a bit off. The pizzas - Marguerita, Pesto and Vodka - were all very good, and the Kale Caesar Salad was excellent. And I hate kale. But the croutons were mushy. The seating was good, but the music suddenly got so loud that I couldn’t hear our conversation. I would try this place again. ♿️

Recognizing that Thursday is a busy night, I originally came in hoping to get a table. I was offered a seat at a table of four that had one empty chair, but I politely declined and instead placed a to-go order for a plain cheeseburger and fries. After waiting more than 30 minutes without receiving my food, I noticed that a table for two had opened up. Since I had originally come in intending to dine at the restaurant, I asked if I could now be seated. I was told that because my order had already been entered as a to-go order, it would be coming in a box. That response was disappointing. By that point, I had already been waiting more than 30 minutes, there was an available table for two, and no one was waiting to be seated. A little flexibility would have gone a long way. When I asked how much longer my order would take, he went to the kitchen and returned a minute or two later, saying they were making it "right now." Meanwhile, the table remained empty. After waiting a total of 43 minutes, another table for two also became available, leaving two open tables. When my food was finally brought out, it was first handed to another customer, who had to point out that it wasn't their

I’m writing this review because my sister found La Rosa Pizzeria on Instagram and swore the wings were amazing, so I ordered pasta for my girlfriend and me. I got the chicken Parmesan with cheese for myself and the same dish without cheese for her. This turned out to be the worst pasta experience I’ve ever paid for. The pasta is $27 a plate, and it’s not even worth $7 on its best day. When we opened the foil, we could literally see the bottom of the container. I told them ahead of time that my girlfriend is a school teacher and asked the girl taking the order if she could ring it up now but put the order in at 2:30 so the food would be hot. She agreed. I paid over $70 for eight wings and two plates of pasta. I arrived at 2:25, and the food was already bagged and cold. The chicken was burnt and tough, the noodles were overcooked, and the sauce drowned everything because there was barely any pasta to begin with. I wouldn’t order from La Rosa Pizzeria again if it were free, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The people hyping this spot must’ve been paid, because there is no universe where real customers tasted this food and left glowing reviews.

This was our first time coming here and we absolutely LOVED it! We had seen this place on social media and some of our friends had told us about their very famous wings so we had to come try it. When we got there, there was a lot of people, but were seated immediately. We ordered their wings with the gold rush sauce, and a pizza pie with meatballs, pepperoni, and mushrooms. While we were waiting, one of the employees named Pat, brought over our drinks. He was so kind and asked us if it was our first time here. After telling him that it was, he told us about their weekly specials. On Tuesday’s they have wings for Β’75, on Wednesday’s, they have a Chicken Sandwich special, and on Thursday’s they have their famous Smash Burger available. Since it was Thursday, we had to try the Smash Burger. We ordered some fries with it and it was amazing. The pizza had ricotta cheese on it giving the pizza so much more flavor and the crust was perfect. The wings were absolutely incredible. The Gold Rush sauce was incredible. They’re a good size and perfect to share. The pie of pizza is perfect for two people. They also have a wide variety of dessert options and we are very happy to come back to try m
